Privacy notice
Version 2026-07-19 · applies to the waitlist only
Who is responsible
[LEGAL NAME], [TAX ID], [POSTAL ADDRESS]. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect and why
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, the date and time of your request, the IP address and browser user agent it came from, and the version of this notice you agreed to.
The email address is used for exactly one purpose: telling you when Bounterland opens. The rest is kept only as proof that consent was freely given, which the GDPR requires us to be able to demonstrate.
We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
Legal basis
Your consent, under article 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use double opt-in: your address is only added to the list after you click the confirmation link we email you. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect the lawfulness of what came before.
Who else sees it
Our email delivery provider, Resend, processes your address in order to deliver our messages, acting on our instructions under a data processing agreement. The database itself lives on a server we control in IONOS (Spain). We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until Bounterland launches and we've invited you, until you unsubscribe, or after 24 months of the project going nowhere — whichever comes first. Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to its processing. Write to [email protected] and we'll respond within one month. Every email we send also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
If you believe we've handled your data unlawfully you can complain to your national data protection authority — in Spain, the AEPD.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we'll publish a new version and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again. The version you agreed to is recorded alongside your record.
